Qss IT Referral Scheme

If you are a current client, the Qss IT referral scheme rewards you for introducing other businesses to our services. When your contact signs an eligible agreement, you receive account credit. At the same time, we donate an equal amount to a local community project or charity.

How does the Qss IT referral scheme work?

Our referral scheme is simple. If you are an existing Qss IT customer and you introduce a new business that signs an eligible agreement, we say thank you in two ways. You receive account credit, and we donate the same amount to a local cause that matters.

To qualify for the scheme, the business you refer must not already be a Qss IT Customer, sign at least one of these agreements for a minimum of 5 seats.

  • VoIP Telecoms
  • Managed Support
  • Managed Cyber Services
  • Secure Cloud Bundle

Once the new agreement is in place, we calculate the value of the first month. Your reward and the community donation are both based on that figure.

What rewards do you receive?

As the referring customer, you receive a credit worth 20% of the first month of the new agreement. This credit is applied directly to your Qss IT account. It reduces your future invoices and can be used against any of your existing services.

The reward is based on the first month only, so it is clear and easy to understand. You do not need to claim it or chase it. We track the new agreement, apply the credit to your account, and confirm the amount with you.

How do we support local community projects?

When a referral leads to a new agreement, we donate 20% of the first month of that contract to our nominated community project or charity. Our current focus is Powden Bower School’s Hive Project.

You are helping us invest in a local project that benefits people close to home. It is a simple way to link everyday business decisions with real community impact.

Who can you refer to Qss IT?

You can refer any organisation that might benefit from a reliable and trusted IT partner. They could be a small local firm or a larger company with multiple sites. The key point is that they are not already a Qss IT customer and they are open to discussing IT, telecoms or cloud services.

Typical referrals include:

  • Growing businesses with 5 or more staff who use computers every day
  • Companies moving office or adding new locations that need at least 5 VoIP extensions
  • Organisations reviewing ageing phone or VoIP systems
  • Teams looking to improve cyber security or cloud services

If you are unsure whether a business is a good fit, you can still introduce us. We will have an initial conversation and let you know if the referral qualifies.

How do you send us a referral?

Making a referral is quick and straightforward. Simply introduce us by email, phone or in person. Share the contact details of the business you have in mind and we will handle the rest, from first conversation through to setting up any new agreement.

You can refer in whichever way suits you best:

  • Email your usual Qss IT contact with your referral’s name and contact details
  • Copy us into an introductory email to your contact so we can continue the conversation
  • Share our contact details with your contact and ask them to mention your name when they get in touch

From there, we manage the process and keep you informed. You do not need to discuss pricing, technical details or contract terms. Our team will handle everything.

Referral scheme FAQs

Do I need to be a Qss IT customer to refer?

Yes. The scheme is designed for existing Qss IT customers who introduce new business to us. This helps us thank you for your trust and support. If someone outside your organisation wants to refer us, we are always happy to talk, but this specific reward is for current clients.

Is there a minimum number of seats for the referral to qualify?

Yes. The new agreement must include a minimum of 5 seats. That could mean at least five VoIP handsets, five supported users on our managed support service, or five cloud or security licences. Referrals below five seats are very welcome, but they will not qualify for this specific referral reward.

What agreements are included in the referral reward?

The referral reward applies when the new customer signs one or more of these agreements with us: VoIP Telecoms, Managed Support, Managed Cyber Services or Secure Cloud Bundle. Other services may be discussed as part of the same conversation, but the reward is calculated on these qualifying agreements.

Do I need to do anything after the introduction?

No. Once you have made the introduction, we take it from there. Our team will speak to your contact, understand their needs and propose the right mix of services. We will then set up any new agreement directly with them and later confirm your credit and the community donation.

When are the account credit and donation applied?

After the new agreement starts and the first month’s value is confirmed, we calculate 20% for your account credit and 20% for the community donation. We then arrange both and confirm the details with you, so you know exactly how much has been credited and donated.
